Can a B significantly bring down your chances for college admission? - college admission b
Recently, I received a B in AP world history. I am in the second year and has the right of everyone by the first year. I want to go to the medical field, and I think that world history has little to do with my career. However, if you go to school in the Ivy League, are my chances now that this B reduced? A detailed response would be very grateful. Thank you.

It is a shame that adults their children in the wrong direction and made them so competitive at a young age, they get so excited and worried about such things.
The B is not at the beginning of the story of a hurt ... especially if it is almost all A, B, only occasionally and irregularly, and not C or D or F ".
Relax. You'll be fine. What is the best we can. It is very competitive, in fact, but you're in the top group. Just keep it up, but a life, too. Everything in moderation ... same school. Find a way to be balanced, and will remain outstanding and will be at or near the top of his class.

I'm in the same boat as you, just a little worse. I just, 4.2, but I have a C in honor of chemistry (I'm) in the second year.
Today I have with my agent and I've always said that improving the level of the second half, that will be happening in the schools. It will take place, and is doing well.
AB is not the end of the world. I would like to be present.

Well, in AP classes, each class is what is really in a higher grade. So it is really an A in normal classes. So do not say that the universities are very good with him.
